The H.C. Andersen Festival is one of Odense’s largest cultural events, celebrating imagination, storytelling, and artistic expression through performances, installations, and experiences inspired by the world of H.C. Andersen. The school assignment was to create a visual identity that could capture the festival’s magic while providing a strong, contemporary framework for communication across the city.
The result is a flexible, expressive system that supports both large-scale festival communication and smaller digital and print materials. Color palettes and typography were chosen to feel bold, welcoming, and vibrant, helping the identity stand out across the city during festival week.
