Dansehallerne is one of Denmark’s leading institutions for contemporary and experimental dance; a place where bodies, movement, and artistic exploration meet. As the institution prepared to move into a striking new location, the need for a renewed visual identity became essential: an identity that reflects both the physical architecture and the human artistry at the heart of the organisation.

For this project, I developed a visual identity built on the poetic connection between the building and the body. The new venue is instantly recognisable for its four monumental chimneys, which became the conceptual foundation for the design. These four pillars echo the four limbs of the human body: two arms and two legs, and symbolise movement, balance, and the fluid interplay between structure and expression. The identity therefore becomes a meeting point between place and performance.
